The
Gorbel G-Force is not
like a hoist or any other lifting
device. It is a high speed intelligent lifting device,
microprocessor controlled, high-speed, safe and easy to use.
- The G-Force is capable of
lifting speeds to 275 feet per minute
- Allows the operator to
work at normal pace
- Increases productivity
- Models available in 150, 300 and
600 pound capacities
JRG Handling is the
only stocking Gorbel G-Force dealer in Texas, Louisiana,
Oklahoma and New Mexico. Our demo unit is
always ready to hit the road. We have the best prices,
best delivery and expertise to help you with your G-Force
applications.
The Gorbel G-Force precise
positioning of loads, rapidly
lifts varying load weights and has an
Inertia management feature that
controls the forces an
operator would normally feel when changing the vertical
direction of a load at high speed.

- Machining applications, loading
and unloading, gauge and test fixture loading and
unloading, palletizing and depalletizing
- High speed production line applications
-

- Tire and rubber handling
- Precision assembly applications
- Palletizing or other pick and place applications
G-Force Technology
- Digital control
Proprietary software runs on a
customized, microprocessor based digital servo
controller which controls the motion of the
servo. This is key to the
smooth motion of the G-Force.
- Intelligent
Virtual limits allow the
vertical range of motion to be
set. Programmable point
of speed reduction provides for a guaranteed soft
placement every time.
- Intuitive
The operator has a sense of
control and feel over the load using normal arm
movements.
-
Minimal
training
Gorbel G-Force is easy to use,
tracks with the
movement of the operator without
buttons or switches.
G-Force can be used by a broad range of operators
and supports cross training.
- Ergonomic
Lifting requires less than 1.5
pounds of operator force to lift any weight up to
the full capacity of the
model being used.
- Low maintenance
Constructed from standard
parts requiring no lubrication.
G-Force Safety Features
- Load Loss Protection
Adjusts to load changes
instantaneouslyy, eliminates
flying hook condition if load
is lost, reducing the possibility of operator injury
- Loss of Power
Fail safe braking system that
locks the unit in place if there is a loss of power
- Diagnostic Lighting Display
Lights indicate power on,
system ready, capacity overload and faults
- System Enable Switch
The deadman switch located on
the handle, if released while operating, will activate a
mechanical braking system to hold the load in position;
non-defeatable deadman
feature will not allow this vital safety function to be
disabled and the G-Force will stop working if it detects
switch tampering.
- Overload Protection
When a capacity overload
situation is detected, the unit will instantly stop
upward motion, but will allow downward motion to enable
operator to unload. Capacity overload threshold is 125%
of full load.
- Slack Control Protection
Prevents entanglements of the lifting cable.
- Upper limit Protection
Mechanical upper limit switch prevents handle from
lifting too far.
